On the Archaeologies of Media: The Digital Realm in Perspective
Roundtable moderated by Yves Citton
with Emmanuel Guez and Lauren Huret
The archaeology of media makes it possible to understand the ongoing transformations, and to anticipate future changes, in technologies of communication. This approach sheds light on the implications of the histories of various traditional forms of media (books, TV, the PC, etc.). A roundtable will be moderated by Yves Citton, professor at the Université de Paris-8 and author, among many other essays on the 18th century and the present day, of Médiarchie, (Éditions du Seuil, 2017).
