  The page width is 13.5 cm. The height of the page is 14.9 cm. The ratio of page (width/height) is 0.916. For Hand A, the width of written area is 10.0 cm, the height of the written area is 11.5 cm, and there are 17 lines per page. For Hand B, the width of written area is 12.2 cm, the height of the written area is 13.8 cm, and there are 16 lines per page.
  Quires: The booklet containing P.Bodmer 20+9 consists of two quires and an orphan folio. The Apology of Phileas (P.Bodmer 20) occupies all of one quaternion and the recto of the first folio of the next quire, a binion. The remainder of the second quire contains Psalms 33-34 (P.Bodmer 9), and the end of Psalm 34 extends on to an orphan folio. Fibers of facing pages in these quires are not aligned. In the first quire, horizontal fibers (→) precede vertical fibers (↓) in the first half of the quire, and vertical precede horizontal in the second half of the quire. In the second quire that pattern is reversed. In the orphan leaf, vertical precedes horizontal.

• Remarques généralesParatextual features: The apostrophe is employed throughout P.Bodmer 20, and corrections are made by placing dots above letters to be deleted. P.Bodmer 9 is corrected throughout by overwriting and inserting text between the lines. Folio 3r carries the page number 133 in the upper margin written in a hand distinct from that of the copyist. Folio 1r, the first page of the Apology of Phileas, would have carried the number 129, but the upper margin of the folio is not extant. Folio 7 and folio 8 do preserve the upper margin, but no page number is present.
  
  Decorations: A small ankh (☥) symbol is found under the end title of the Apology of Phileas (P.Bodmer 20). The copyist of the Psalms (P.Bodmer 9) occasionally employs decorative lines to fill up space.

• RésuméPapyrus codex containing the Apology of Phileas (P.Bodmer 20); Psalms 33-34 (P.Bodmer 9).
  Description: P.Bodmer 20+9 contains the text of the Apology of Phileas followed by Psalms 33 and 34, copied in a different hand. P.Bodmer 9 ends in the middle of a verse (34:17), but the stop is natural, and a blank space is left, suggesting that the ending here was intentional and that no further text followed. Testuz argued that P.Bodmer 20+9 was a part of the codex consisting of P.Bodmer 5+10+11+7+13+12+8. The leaves are roughly the same size, but there is no clear codicological connection linking P.Bodmer 20+9 to the codex, although all these leaves seem to have been acquired at roughly the same time.
